This compilation released after singer Ian Curtis' suicide in 1980 fuses together studio outtakes and songs from one of the group's final live performances. The live side showcases the band in their muddy post-punk brilliance (taking on "Sister Ray"), while the studio side contains one of their finest tracks ("Dead Souls").
