(LOS ANGELES) - If Michael Jackson wants to talk to his tour manager when he visits Germany in May, he'll have to go to prison to do so. Mama Concerts head Marcel Avram, one of the biggest promoters in the world, was arrested for tax evasion last week and has not been let out on bond. The tax authorities reportedly want DM8 million ($4.7 million) of Avram's estimated $44 million fortune from Avram personally, though the company itself is not under investigation. A Mama Concerts spokesperson reassured the public that Avram's imprisonment will not disrupt the concert tours of Jackson, Joe Cocker and others expected in Germany in the near future.
