(NASHVILLE) - Legendary blues guitarist Robert Johnson has been selected as the honoree for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum's 1998 American Music Masters Series.|
The tribute is Sept. 21-27, 1998, in Cleveland, and will include two concerts by artists influenced by Johnson's life and work. As with the Jimmie Rodgers tribute earlier this year, the hall will present the showcase in conjunction with Case Western Reserve University, with support from museum sponsors.
