Ian Hunter
Ian Hunter was born June 3rd, 1946 in Shrewsbury, GB and is best known for his contributions to rock band Mott the Hoople in the seventies. Hunter sang, played guitar and keyboard and was the band's main songwriter. It was David Bowie's song "All The Young Dudes" though that paved the way to fame for the band. Hunter left MTH in 1974 and recorded with members of Queen and Mick Ronson, released solo records and produced Generation X's second LP but became reclusive after 1983. His last record, 2001's "Rant", features his typical passionate rock.
