Heather Nova
The singer/songwriter Heather Nova was born as Heather Frith on July 6, 1967 in Bermuda. She studied visual arts at the University of Rhodes Island, but soon moved on to London, England to become a songwriter. Her debut EP “These Walls” saw release in 1990, and the full-length album “Glowstars” followed in 1993. Due to her talent, her easy-going, honest songwriting and her good looks, she soon became a darling of the indie scene. She went on to record albums such as “Oyster” (1994) and “Storm” (2003) and self-published a book of drawings and poems titled “The Sorrowjoy” in 2002.
