First Call is a three-piece outfit. Their music is quite similar to Take 6 and Manhattan Transfer. The band was founded by Bonnie Keen, Marty McCall and Melody Tunney, who was later replaced by Marybeth Jordan. First Call deliver a Christian message - that's their greatest different from Manhattan Transfer. Before their 1996 album "First Call" the band had released various longplayers, including "God Is Good", "Evening In December", "Le Razon de Cantar" and "Something Takes Over". Their highest chart position was #7 in the Billboard Top Contemporary Christian chart with "Human Song" in 1992.
