Ella Baila Sola

Ella Baila Sola are a Spanish pop duo consisting of one-time student friends Marta Botía and Marilia Casares. They were taken under the wing of producer Gonzalo Benavides after he heard a demo of their early work, and he encouraged them to change their name and sing in Spanish. Their self-titled debut was released in 1996 which led to them winning the prize for Best Spanish Band at the Premios Amigo Awards in 1997. Following successful tours, the band recorded "e.b.s." in 1998 which featured the hit "Y Quisiera". Following albums included "Marta & Marilia" (2001) and "Lucha Rock" (2004).
