Ed Harcourt is a singer/pianist/songwriter from Lewes, England. Often compared to Tom Waits, Ed has built up a relatively small, but extremely dedicated fan base through years of releasing albums and touring, both on his own and as a support act for better known acts. Harcourt's debut came in 2001 in the form of an EP entitled "Maplewood". His first LP, "Here Be Monsters", was released in 2001 and immediately found a receptive audience. 2006 saw the release of a full length entitled "The Beautiful Lie" as well as the single "Visit From The Dead Dog".
