The Swedish singer Ebba Forsberg has travelled the world and incorporated it into her rich pop music compositions. She wrote her 1998 debut "Been There" with texts penned by her sister Kajsa Ribbing. She learned to play piano and to sing while she was living in South Africa. Her fascination with jazz, South African culture and classical music influenced her style of confessional music. Forseng is among the best of the late nineties wave of professionally intimate female vocalists. The all-broken-up authenticity of her vocals appeals to fans and critics.
