Doc Scott
The UK electronic music artist Doc Scott alias Scott McIlroy (alias Nasty Habits alias Octave One) started his career with the one-sided promo release "Tokyo Dawn VIP". The track was later included on the compilation "Earth Volume One". The Doctor went on to release numerous cuts, among them "Prophecy", a 1997 collaboration with the act Dom. In '96, the Doc Scott track "Machines" made it onto the drum'n'bass compilation "Techsteppin", which received lots of critical praise for catching the peak of the early development of tech step drum'n'bass.
