Dave Brock
Dave Brock is best remembered as the co-founder and musical mastermind behind the sci-fi rock outfit Hawkwind. Brock, born in Isleworth, England, started his career in music busking in London until he joined the Dharma Blues Band and eventually founded Hawkwind in 1969. The band, who also worked with the fantasy writer Michael Moorcock, soon developed a devoted fan following and may be considered the high point of psychedelic sci-fi hard rock. Brock also released a few solo albums among them the 1995 issue “Strange Dreams & Pipe Dreams”.
