Charlie Peacock

The Christian pop singer Charlie Peacock has worked as both a producer for Christian acts and as a frontman of his own band. He had his first release in 1984 and then followed a self-titled album in 1986. Around the same time came a collection of previously unreleased material, the "West Coast Diaries" of 1987/88. In 1991, Amy Grant performed the Peacock hit "Every Heartbeat" which made number 2 on the pop charts. Peacock then withdrew from the limelight to release the more pious "Coram Deo: In the Presence of God" in 1995. Then followed five more albums up to 2005's "Love Press Ex-Curio".
