If there were any need for an example of a successful artistic father-daughter link, it would be saxophonist Candy Dulfer. Born in Amsterdam, Netherlands in '69, the daughter of Hans Dulfer, a renowned jazz saxophone player himself, is the prototype child prodigy. By the time she is invited to open up for Madonna in '87, she is already a national star in Holland. But it is her collaborations with geniuses such as Prince and Dave Stewart that secure her exceptional status in pop/funk world wide, making her the superstars' superstar sax player.
