Bullet For My Valentine

The Welsh metal quartet Bullet For My Valentine was founded in 1997 by Matthew 'Matt' Tuck (vocals), Michael 'Padge' Padget (guitar), Michael 'Moose' Thomas (drums) and Nick Cradle (bass) in Bridgend. Once managed by Visage singer Steve Strange, they started out doing cover versions of Metallica, Iron Maiden and Testament songs. The band underwent a number of name changes, first calling itself Jeff Killed John, then Opportunity in Chicago, until they finally opted for Bullet For My Valentine. In 2004 B4MV released their self-titled debut album, followed by ”The Poison“ (2005).
