Bobby Vee

Bobby Vee's career took off after the tragic deaths of Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens, and the Big Bopper in a plane crash. Bobby Vee took Holly's place at a concert in Fargo, North Dakota. Soon after this Vee was in the recording studio making the single "Suzie Baby". "Devil or Angel" was Vee's first hit in 1960. "Take Good Care of My Baby" spent three weeks at number one and the song would become his most successful. Later he would dabble in acting, getting parts in "Just for Fun" and "Play It Cool". His career faded when the Beatles got started.
