Bob Carlisle
One of the best-known figures in CCM, largely on the strength of his 1997 crossover hit "Butterfly Kisses," Carlisle might be thought of as the Michael Bolton of the genre. Ballads are his bread and butter, and he belts them out in a husky voice placed atop appropriately unobtrusive Adult Contemporary accompaniment.
