Intense South African band mixes native pop with American hip-hop, soul, and rock. Babado sound like they got Stevie Wonder to resurrect Bob Marley and Jimi Hendrix, flew them to Johannesburg, and hired Tricky to produce the session. A touch chaotic, but there is enough method in their madness to produce a unified whole.
