Annie
Annie is the Norwiegen retro pop hipster Anne Lilia Berge-Strand. Falling somewhere between early Madonna and the sugary Euro-pop of Vanessa Paradis, Annie began to insinuate herself into DJ sets as early as 1999 with the underground sensation "The Greatest Hit". It wasn't until 2004 and the release of "Anniemal" that the singer gained wide-spread recognition. The tracks on "Anniemal" covered a wide range of styles without losing their dance-friendly energy. Röyksopp and producer Timo Kaukolampi, as well as Richard X all contributed production work to the album.
