Ana Gabriel

Ana Gabriel, a singer from Mexico, first began performing to live audiences at the young age of 6. At age 15, however, Ana moved to Tijuana to both study accounting, and to pursue a career as a professional singer. Her first, relatively low-key single was released in 1977, called "Comprendeme". After spending years building up a strong local and regional following, Ana finally made it big with the 1988 breakthrough album "Tierra De Nadie" which contained the hit single "Simplemente Amigos", and helped gain Ana national notoriety. 2003 saw the release of the album "Dulce Y Salado".
