Alison Moyet
The British pop singer was born in the county of Essex, which also her last album from 1994 is named after. Entered professional music scene as part of the synth pop duo Yazoo before she started her solo career. Immediate success with hit singles "Invisible", "All Cried Out", and "Love Resurrection" from 1984 debut album "Alf ". Her second album "Raindance", 1987, scored similarly high with Top hits "Weak in the Presence of Beauty" and "Love Letters", while the two ones since did not.
