1910 Fruitgum Company
1910 Fruitgum Company is a bubblegum pop band that was most popular during the 1960's. The group formed in 1965 in New Jersey, USA. In 1967 the band was signed to Buddah Records, who released the groups' debut single “Simon Says", which became a huge hit throughout America and Europe. After touring and opening for major acts such as The Beach Boys Fruitgum Company released several other hits including "1-2-3 Red Light", "Indian Giver", "Goody, Goody Gumdrops" and "May I Take a Giant Step". The band continues to play on the "nostalgia" concert circuit.
