Text Express
Goal of the game
The goal of the game is to make your train, the Text Express, reach the next station before the competitor's train does. Your train moves if you make words using the 6 letters located on the pieces of coal at the bottom of the screen. If you make a 3 to 6 letter word with these letters, the coals are thrown into the fire, thrusting your train forward. Keep making words to keep your train moving!
If you get to the next station first, you may play the next level. Each station will be further away than the previous one so you'll have to make more words in each level to complete it. The game is over when the competitor's train reaches the next station first.

Bonus mode
The Text Express is on a strict two minutes schedule. If you reach the next station early, you'll enter the bonus mode. In the bonus mode you have the chance to make more words with the 6 letters without the pressure of the other train catching up. When the train of the competitor reaches the station, the two minutes are up and the journey to the next station begins with 6 new letters.
Word List
The words you make are listed in the word list in the middle of the screen. This list can be helpful in locating missing words as it shows space holders for all the words that can be found with the 6 provided letters.
Controls
You can play the game using the mouse and/or the keyboard.
If you play using the mouse, you can make words by clicking on the letters. Click on the Submit button to throw the coals into the fire, on the Clear button to cancel the current word, on the Shuffle button to randomly shuffle the letters, and on the Pause button to pause/quit the game.
If you play using the keyboard, you can simply type the word you wish to make. Press ENTER to submit the word, press BACKSPACE to cancel the last letter, press ESC to cancel the current word, and press SPACE to shuffle the letters.

Score
The score you receive when you make a word is dependent on the length of the word you make:
Sometimes you'll get a glowing piece of coal. If you use it in a word, the score of that word is doubled. If you make long words, you'll get more glowing pieces of coal.
